19 of the Russian's twenty-one victories have been earned on hard courts
A resurgent the Russian player secured his first title for nearly 30 months with a win over opponent Moutet in the Almaty Open championship match.
Medvedev, a former world number one, has endured a torrid season, achieving just one win at the Grand Slams and undergoing a meltdown at the American major.
The player's inconsistency on the tennis tour - and difficulties with his service game in specific - caused him falling of the top ten and ultimately splitting with long-term coach Cervara.
Now working with his coach and Goetzke, Medvedev has gradually improved in the past month - culminating in a tightly fought three-set win over opponent Moutet.
This represents Medvedev's maiden championship after the Italian tournament and first on a hard surface after March of the previous year.
Success also indicates Medvedev has achieved 21 championships at 21 distinct events.
"This marks the first occasion I'm at a competition with my two daughters simultaneously, so to secure a trophy is particularly special," stated tennis professional the champion.
"This championship is in tribute of my child her name, because the first title I got when my first daughter her name was born was for her."
Medvedev, the 2021 US Open champion, had been defeated in his previous six championship matches, including in that event earlier this year.
Medvedev's defensive approach and regular emotional displays on the playing surface had prompted some to question if his skill to perform at the top level was concluded.
Yet the athlete has implemented adjustments in recent weeks, attempting to advance forward and perform positively, backed up by an improved serve.
Medvedev came back from a disadvantage in the opening set against the tricky Frenchman, winning 4 of the final five games to take the lead.
Both players exchanged service breaks in the middle set before the Frenchman, bidding for his maiden tour championship, gained dominance to push for a decider.
The opponent rescued four initial opportunities in a competitive deciding set before the Russian broke to 15 to secure the win.
Suitably, he clinched the title with a shot at the net area, with his opponent failing to control a shot after over two and a half hours.
